This retreat, in association with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rebeccadykeswriters.org\/\">Rebecca Dykes <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rebeccadykeswriters.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Writers<\/a>, brought us together to sit with hard truths, support one another through the creative process, and practice writing as both an act of healing and a tool for class=\"has-12-font-size\">While <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rebeccadykeswriters.org\/\">Rebecca Dykes Writers<\/a> has completed its last chapter, the work itself is far from finished. <a href=\"http:\/\/writetoempower.us\">Write to Empower<\/a> now rises from that legacy. We carry the torch, tend the flame, and expand the circle of those committed to transforming lived experience into meaningful stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We came together as a group because we have experienced how storytelling alchemizes trauma and grief into healing gold. We have experienced liberation through creativity and creation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Spoken or written, sharing words is healing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is as old as time itself.
